confession: I get mad at my kids

I'm just going to be honest right now. I don't want to be at work today. I have several kids who are driving me crazy and I'd like them to just move away. I don't want to see them anymore, or have to deal with their issues anymore. Seriously. I feel grumpy and like I'm being mean to them all, when it's just a few who deserve the grump. I hate it, but it's what it is at this moment. Just thought I'd confess that.

Hang in there! I sometimes take for granted that in Junior Church I can send a church kid to sit with his parents or ask that a bus kid be driven home (or reach for my cell and dial all but the last digit of their home number!). I'm sure I'd have had some really bad days without those safety valves :-)

So what do you teach?

Jeff, I teach fifth grade, so basically everything. It's my second year, and I love it...most of the time. The day got a LOT better after I had an honest talk with the kiddos, and sent several to the office. Luckily, I have an amazing principal, who is very supportive.
